The role is looking to solve the problem of managing and directing the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within Lincoln Financial, providing technical leadership and subject matter expertise on complex projects and initiatives.

• AWS Solutions Architect (Preferred)
• Managed File Transfer Platforms (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• You will function as a Federated Architect with Site reliability engineering (SRE) practice on multiple Integration Platforms, with immediate focus on Managed File Transfers (IBM Sterling File Gateway; Connect Direct) and a good-to-have experience on API Management (IBM CP4I/MuleSoft).
• You will provide direction and guidance for the design, architecture, implementation and security of business-critical infrastructure platforms that host LFG applications.
• You will lead research, design, architecture and implementation of the enterprise cloud services supporting related Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and managed platforms (PaaS).
• You will develop and implement complex DevOps methodologies supporting infrastructure and development partners.
• You will be responsible for Platform Lifecycle activities like Design, deploy, install, upgrade, patch, configure, compliant, security, audit, administer, maintenance, monitoring, backup, recovery and governance.
• You will serve as lead technical resource to ensure completion of infrastructure development tasks.
• You will serve as a technical expert and provides complex technical guidance to junior team members.

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field
• 5 – 7+ Years experience in system design/architecture that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
