HGA is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Interior Designer to lead projects and direct teams in creating exceptional interiors, with a focus on design, sustainability, and architectural innovation in their Sacramento, CA practice.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and other industry-standard software
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products
- NCIDQ or CID accreditation required
- 8+ years of professional experience in interior design, including prior Project Management experience
- Proven leadership and project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects
- Ability to oversee and be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, ensuring timely and quality results
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited program
Responsibilities
- Lead interior design efforts on multiple projects from conceptual design through to construction
- Develop and manage design programming, planning, and interior design strategies to meet client goals
- Ensure designs meet building accessibility codes, exiting, and life safety requirements
- Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development
- Work within project schedules to prioritize tasks and coordinate the completion of documentation required from initial design phase through final project completion
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and city agencies to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and delivery timelines to ensure high-quality results

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited program
