The client is extending their technology team with additional server software developers to work on projects including home security, streaming video, and home automation.
Requirements
- 8-10 years in Java / J2EE, including Servlets, JMS, JDBC, and EJB/Spring
- 3-5 years of Linux or Unix
- Expert level understanding of Web Services
- Experience with software development tools such as SVN, GIT, JIRA, maven
- Experience in streaming video or embedded software
- Familiarity with network protocol analyzers like tcpdump or wireshark
Responsibilities
- work closely with our mobile developers as well as our embedded software team
- develop software that interacts with hardware such as sensors, IP cameras, light switches, and more
