Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Java Developer candidate for a Remote position on one of their prime Federal projects in Arlington, VA. Federal agency requires US Citizenship.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12+ years in Java application development, with solutions architect experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.
- Experience migrating enterprise applications into Azure.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft TFS.
- Strong experience with the following technologies - ADF/JSF/JavaScript, JavaBeans/EJB, Ant or Maven, and Git source control.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure Cloud and Cloud.Gov environment.
- Experience working with Oracle Databases and WebLogic Application Servers.
Responsibilities
- Develop, upgrade, test, implement, and document software components of client applications.
- Work independently and/or within teams throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Communicate with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements and solution design.
- Develop enhancements to a suite of applications using leading software principles.
- Document technical specifications and designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues as needed.
- Adhere to established design, coding, naming and standards.

- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or similar.
- Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
