Nortal is looking for a skilled Java Developer to design and build scalable backend systems, contribute to automation and continuous integration pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable delivery.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience building and integrating microservices and REST APIs.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tooling.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices following modern architecture and design patterns.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with JUnit, Mockito, and similar frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and quality.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Work with containerization tools (Docker) and deploy services to Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms.
