Akkodis is seeking a Sr Java Developer to lead the development of high-performance, multi-tier applications and scalable APIs for a client in Sunnyvale, CA/ Austin, TX
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as RooCode and Claude, along with strong knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Proven expertise in building scalable, distributed applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and NoSQL databases
- Minimum 10+ years in enterprise Java development and 5+ years with MongoDB

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications using Java 8+ and Spring Framework
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for high-performance, low-latency applications
- Work with relational (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) to design and implement efficient data models
- Leverage AWS cloud services for application deployment and scalability
- Integrate AI tools like RooCode and Claude into development workflows to enhance automation and productivity
- Ensure code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and best practices, while mentoring junior developers and collaborating in Agile teams
