Requirements

  • Advanced in one or more programming language(s) Java or Python with Advanced experience in AWS tools (EKS, ECS, RDS, Dynamo, Lambda, Glue) & infrastructure
  • Service Oriented Architect
  • Able to drive large scale software implementations.
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines.
  • Experience working at code level.
  • Teradata, Data Lakes and AI/ML usage and implementation, design and techniques

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way
  • Be a core technical contributor responsible for maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
  • Deliver innovative data management solutions using Python and AWS.
  • Provide overall direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasks
  • Be accountable for decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
  • Identifies and mitigates issues to execute a book of work while escalating issues as necessary
  • Provides input to leadership regarding budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies and functionality for the team
