Warner Music Group is looking to solve the problem of driving fandom, music consumption, and social conversation/engagement for its artists through innovative digital marketing strategies.
Requirements
- A deep professional understanding of interactive technologies and communication tools, including: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, YouTube, Snapchat, Discord, Website strategy, Email/CRM strategy and overall social media trends
- Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design knowledge
- Experience using project management software such as Monday and Basecamp
- Understanding of social media analytics and posting tools such as Falcon and HootSuite
- Short form video creation experience
- Knowledge of music trends and culture across multiple genres
- Experience with digital marketing plans that are concise and executable
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of groundbreaking digital marketing campaigns and build growth strategies for both established and developing artists, leading to follower growth and consumption
- Monitor campaigns in real-time, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Create post-mortem analyses to quantify the impact of each campaign and measure effectiveness of each tactic
- Collaborate with internal teams including Commercial Revenue, Marketing, Brand Partnerships, Creative and Publicity, to build cohesive cross-platform campaigns
- Be responsible for the day-to-day social media strategy, website, and CRM strategies for a designated roster of artists and the Warner Records social accounts with a focus on driving fandom, engagement, and music consumption
- Use your expert-level knowledge of social platforms and social content strategies when partnering with artists and management to craft a social narrative and content strategy that elevates their brands and drives fandom, cultural conversation and music consumption
- Partner with internal creatives and external creators to develop high-performing short-form content for Warner Records artists
- Partner with the VP of Paid Media Strategy, Operations and Audience Growth to develop and execute paid media campaigns and CRM strategy for each artist
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years professional experience in digital/social media marketing, direct to consumer marketing, and/or related fields preferably at a Record Label or music management company
- Outstanding organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, and expertise in social media content strategy
- Innate ability to lead and mentor
- Project management experience
