Holland America Line is looking to solve the problem of strategic planning and execution of web-based solutions that support marketing and e-commerce initiatives across both Holland America Line and Seabourn brands.
Requirements
- Experienced with Agile Development, preferably Scrum
- Hands-on knowledge of Domino, APEX, SQL, MS Access / Azure, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related API integrations
- 5+ Years of Web and API development
- 5+ Years VB .Net, and MS Power Platform applications
- 7+ years of project delivery using Agile (Scrum & Kanban)
- Proven track record of on-time execution, bug-free, secure code, and delivery of projects
- 8+ Years of experience hands-on knowledge of software development
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the Shared Business Applications portfolio and development roadmap across Holland America Line, Seabourn, Princess, and HAP Alaska Brands
- Define and implement web technology direction, including architecture, design patterns, platforms, frameworks, and development languages.
- Lead architectural and design reviews to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
- Maintain the health of the codebase through continuous refactoring and proactive management of technical debt.
- Champion Agile methodologies to drive efficient and iterative product development.
- Establish and evolve delivery processes, coding standards, and branching strategies across the full software development lifecycle.
- Ensure frictionless development environments through best practices in source control, secure coding, unit testing, and code quality.

- 8+ years’ experience as a technical leader, specifically building and supporting internally built applications.
- Clear written and oral communication skills
- 5+ years of experience managing a combination of both nearshore, offshore and onshore technical resources.
- Identify and coach both high and low performers to elevate individual and team effectiveness.
- Build and nurture high-performing development teams aligned with strategic objectives.
