At T-Mobile, the business problem is to lead the strategy, architecture, and development of Mobile Application Foundations, enabling the delivery of multiple mobile applications from a single codebase, and to simplify operations, elevate the customer experience, and create frameworks and tools to develop consistent mobile applications across multiple brands.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Visual Studio development environment, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office is required
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale mobile application development teams and initiatives in native app development
  • Deep understanding of mobile OS architectures, API design principles, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • 7-10 years of experience of developing large scale business systems applications
  • 2-4 years of management experience with programming staff including leadership, planning, and coordination of development work for 4 large projects
  • More than 10 years of overall IT experience
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple mobile software development teams to deliver projects on time and within budget through effective leadership and coaching
  • Define and implement continuous improvement initiatives across technical disciplines, including processes, tooling, and compliance
  • Oversee technical vendor relationships to incorporate feature requests and enhance product functionality
  • Develop and maintain mobile app technical roadmaps in collaboration with design and enterprise architecture teams
  • Partner with Product, UX, Retail, and Business teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
  • Build, develop, and retain top-tier engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and technical excellence
  • Inspire teams to adopt modern engineering practices, promote continuous learning, and embrace new technologies

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
