McKesson is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining critical supply chain management systems for their Enterprise Logistics business unit, aiming to improve warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations for their customers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in software development, including at least 5 years of experience managing software engineering teams.
- Extensive experience with development, implementation and customization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Proven track record of delivering impactful supply chain management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Solid grasp of data modeling concepts and SQL.
- AS/400 RPG experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and testing new features for our supply chain management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions using agile methodologies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the development team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in software engineering, incorporating best practices into our development processes.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.
