Palo Alto Networks' Next-Gen Firewall / Cloud Security test engineering team is looking for a seasoned and accomplished Senior Manager with experience in Automation, Networking, and/or Firewall Security technologies to lead and participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition and design through implementation, testing, and field deployments.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in highly technical roles in test engineering or enterprise services.
- 5+ years in management roles.
- Strong domain expertise in building and delivering large-scale Networking/Security Products & Solutions.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and a strong proficiency in Python.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency and code quality.
- Experience leading software test teams involved with qualifying features and customer use cases.

- Stays updated with advancements and the usage of AI (for coding, quality processes, etc.), evaluate their relevance, and incorporate them to enhance systems.
- Work closely with the product management organization to develop and deliver on product roadmaps.
- Lead cross-functionally with PANOS software, Prisma Access/SASE, CDSS, Operations, and Quality Engineering teams to bring new products and services to market in a timely fashion with excellent quality.
Other
- BS/MS in Computer Science, another engineering/technical degree, or equivalent military experience is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with customer engagements (both proactive and reactive) and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
