RTX Corporation is seeking to enhance its strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management, spend analysis, decision support, project management, risk management, and continuous improvement processes within its Enterprise Services, Research Center, or BBN teams. This involves analyzing supplier pricing, negotiating agreements, managing contracts for software and services, deriving insights from complex data, informing category strategies, managing schedules, mitigating risks, and improving procurement processes to achieve technical, financial, and performance objectives.
Requirements
- Microsoft data management, visualization and presentation applications such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SharePoint, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint and Power Automate.
- Hands-on sourcing and contracting experience with top tier software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday and/or ServiceNow, etc.) and/or service (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, etc.) providers is required.
- SAP Ariba upstream solutions (e.g., Contracts, Sourcing, Spend Analysis, Supplier Information and Performance Management, etc.) is highly desired.
- In-depth understanding of various types of software licensing models
- Analyzing and/or negotiating software contracts to drive year on year cost savings to help RTX meet its bottom line

- Business acumen to connect technical requirements and concerns to contract performance
Responsibilities
- Analyze supplier pricing and assist in negotiation of complex agreements.
- Analyze Supplier RFP responses and summarize and present findings.
- Support the review, draft, and revision of a variety of contracts including software licenses, maintenance and support, professional services and master agreements.
- Capture and communicate meaningful insights from complex data sets obtained from multiple, unintegrated sources.
- Execute spend analytics & modeling and provide executive level presentations.
- Conduct research for product portfolio, including install base analysis, competitive intelligence, customer satisfaction studies, and strategic solution alternatives
- Support negotiations for Software (SaaS, perpetual, and subscription) and Services contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives for RTX.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Data Science or related discipline is required, an Advanced Degree is preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of Digital/IT Sourcing and Spend Analysis experience required.
