The IRS is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications that support mission-critical business operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing .NET applications.
- Strong proficiency with C-Sharp, ASP.NET Core
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and source control (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework and C-Sharp
- Build and consume RESTful APIs for data exchange across enterprise systems.
- Support front-end integration using Angular, React, or Razor Pages
- Develop and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and queries in SQL Server
- Ensure application security, performance tuning, and compliance with best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support integration testing.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Must have a IRS MBI Clearance
- Full time = 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day
- Employment Classification Eligibility — W2 / 1099 (will be W-2 most of the time)
