Hologic is looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer to support new product development from concept to production, requiring strong technical judgment and a deep understanding of customer-centric design.
Requirements
- Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks preferred), tolerance stack ups, DFM, and GD&T
- Knowledge of experimental, computational, and analytical methods, including DFSS, DOE, and MiniTab
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, joining methods, rapid prototyping)
- Familiarity with risk management tools and product lifecycle best practices
- Extensive understanding of engineering principles, medical device development, and customer-centric design
- Demonstrated success in applying broad technical expertise to solve complex problems and develop innovative products
- Capable of evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures for projects with complex features

Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- Action-oriented with a keen attention to detail and a strong aptitude for technical learning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage deliverables to meet milestones.
- Skilled in technical writing, able to author protocols, reports, and risk documentation with minimal guidance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, able to resolve complex technical challenges using innovative solutions.
