The AMS technology team needs to develop database-centric solutions to support improvements to the AMS systems and business processes included in the AMS Modernization roadmap at Raymond James
Requirements
- Experience with Oracle SQL including analytics and windowing functions, dynamic SQL and set operations
- Experience with PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, pipelined table functions and other database objects
- Oracle SQL performance tuning using profiling tools, optimizer hints, query refactoring, table partitioning, and index design (including index-organized tables)
- Understanding of Oracle's automatic and manual locking mechanisms
- Experience with developing custom exception handling in PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle APEX for low-code development
- Experience with Unix and Shell scripting
Responsibilities
- Oracle Database Development: Create and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and database schemas
- Low-Code Application Development: Design and develop low-code applications using Oracle APEX to support business users
- Database Optimization: Analyze and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage
- CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all projects
- Plan and Execute Development Projects: Collaborate with both the technology team and our Business Partners throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and level 2 support, ensuring high-quality deliverables
