The company is looking to establish best practices and ensure high-quality delivery of its Adobe Commerce platform by hiring a Senior PHP Engineer to guide internal development teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on PHP development experience
  • Proven ability to deliver production-ready solutions using advanced features in Laravel, Symfony, or Zend
  • Experience with scalable systems delivery, evidenced by high system uptime, low regression rates, and positive end-user feedback
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular for seamless backend-to-frontend integration
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce platform
  • Familiarity with PHP coding standards and best practices
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and workflows

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical contributions to the Adobe Commerce platform
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to the existing Adobe Commerce architecture
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to define, document, and drive adoption of PHP development standards and workflows
  • Guide internal teams on technical best practices, implementation patterns, and platform capabilities
  • Contribute to cross-functional planning, working sessions, and design efforts
  • Promote secure coding practices and identify potential risks within the Adobe Commerce implementation
  • Develop and maintain clear, accessible documentation for coding standards, workflows, and platform

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to business continuity by supporting critical deployments and troubleshooting efforts during evenings, weekends, or holidays when required
  • Ability to work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example through pair programming, code reviews, and working sessions
