Northrop Grumman is looking for a Senior Principal Quality Engineer to work on their team in Linthicum, MD to apply and maintain the AS9100 quality management system and ensure quality standards are in place.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Quality Management System (ISO9001 or AS9100 preferred)
  • Experience as part of Root Cause Analysis or Risk Management teams.
  • Experience in a Semi-conductor Fab.
  • Experience with data analysis with experience in presenting data.
  • Experience working in cross functional teams
  • Experience with electrical and/or mechanical design requirements and specifications.
  • Experience with SAP

Responsibilities

  • Works as a partner with cross functional groups to apply and maintain the AS9100 quality management system at ATL: fab, test, and assembly areas.
  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Implements the Quality Management System at ATL using audits, corrective actions, preventative actions, and other tools.
  • Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
  • Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Needs to have an ability to work with microscopic product and develop a repeatable process with key stakeholders.

Other

  • Bachelors in STEM field and a minimum of 8 years in technical or fabrication work experience or a minimum of 6 years in technical or fabrication experience with a Masters degree
  • Active Top Secret Clearance to start and to be considered
