Ingram Micro is looking to design exceptional experiences impacting Customers (Resellers), End Customers, Vendors, and Associates by simplifying complex quoting workflows, streamlining quote-to-order processes, enhancing vendor interactions, and driving positive business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of UX/Product Design experience, with proven experience independently driving significant design initiatives from ideation to implementation.
  • Strong expertise in user-centered design principles, interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complexity, manage diverse stakeholder expectations, and deliver measurable outcomes in fast-paced, Agile and/or Lean UX environments.
  • Expert knowledge of design tools like Figma and ability to work across multiple levels of fidelity.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with Engineering teams, with a solid understanding of front-end development practices and technical implementation considerations.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to gain clarity and deliver elegant solutions within ambiguous and complex domains.
  • Experience designing with and for AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design strategy and execution within areas of ourQuotes domain, influencing experiences across Customers (Resellers), End Customers, Vendors, and internal Associates.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to deeply understand complex requirements and workflows, turning ambiguity into elegant solutions.
  • In partnership with our UXR team, facilitate user research, usability testing, and customer interviews, leveraging insights to inform your designs and validate hypotheses.
  • Rapidly prototype, visualize, and iterate solutions based on user feedback, technical considerations, and strategic business objectives.
  • Present and defend design solutions to executive leaders, clearly communicating your design rationale and how it connects to business and user outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor other designers on the team and provide creative/product direction.
  • Contribute actively to design system development, best practices, and culture-building efforts across our global UX organization.

  • This position can be in our Irvine, California corporate headquarters, Seattle, WA, or Bay Area.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in UX, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with a track record of effectively influencing senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
