Requirements
- Proficiency in concept-to-production workflows, including ideation, prototyping, and validation.
- CAD software experience with advanced skills in various 3D modeling and drafting tools.
- A deep knowledge of manufacturing methods such as CNC machining, assembly, fabrication, etc.
- Understanding of interpreting and applying engineering drawings using geometric dimensioning and tolerances to ensure manufacturability and quality.
- General Understanding of hydraulic, magnetic and mechanical systems.
- SQL Database experience
- Experience with DFM and DFA techniques
Responsibilities
- Participate in internal DFMEA workshops
- Participate in technical reviews with suppliers to help optimize the design per supplier recommendations.
- Ensure that DFM and DFA techniques are employed early in the development process.
- Create and refine component and system designs from concept through production- ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, feedback, and training to junior designers and engineers, promotive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate design records, change logs, and configuration data in accordance with company and customer requirements.
- Design and detail new fixtures, gages, and tooling.

- Associates Degree in Drafting
- 8+ Years Industrial Experience preferred
- Strong project management and the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Contributes positively in a team environment.
- Performs work with minimal or no supervision.
