Wayne Combustion System Inc is looking for an engineer to contribute to new product development projects, focusing on design proposals, testing, feasibility analysis, mathematical modeling, sample building, and manufacturing processes assessment to develop and implement new methods, designs, and products.
Requirements
- Proficient in 3D modeling software. SolidWorks preferred
- Combustion simulation experience a plus
- Ability to solve technical problems independently and within a team environment
Responsibilities
- responsible for a range of highly complex engineering tasks in new product development projects associated with design proposals, testing, feasibility analysis, mathematical modeling, sample building, manufacturing processes assessment, etc. to develop and implement new methods, designs and products.
- Writes engineering specifications
- interprets/analyses test results.
- Handles complex assignments
- trains junior staff.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant Science
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in progressive engineering roles
- Minimum 2 years active involvement in burner development and/or testing
- Proven new product launch capabilities
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Strong project management skills
- Willingness to travel as needed up to 20%
