Axon is looking to improve its live streaming and video playback experiences for enterprise customers within its Real-Time Operations portfolio, aiming to balance performance, reliability, and usability in high-stakes operational environments.
Requirements
- Experience building or managing real-time video or streaming products, with a strong understanding of performance, network, and user experience tradeoffs.
- Strong technical literacy with streaming protocols, cloud architectures, and integration approaches.
- Skilled at backlog management, sprint planning, and working closely with engineering to deliver high-quality releases.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end livestreaming and playback product experience for enterprise customers, from real-time monitoring to post-incident review.
- Define and deliver on product goals for low-latency performance, reliability under varying network conditions, and operational ease of use.
- Partner with engineering on architecture and technical tradeoffs that enable performance at scale while maintaining security and compliance standards.
- Develop metrics and telemetry to proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve quality or reliability issues.
- Work with design and research teams to ensure playback workflows are intuitive and optimized for high-volume, high-stakes use cases.
- Support integrations with third-party video sources, analytics platforms, and enterprise systems to extend capability and customer value.
- Coordinate with GTM and customer success teams to drive adoption and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Other
- 6+ years in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS, streaming media, or physical security technology.
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and roadmap priorities.
- Comfort engaging with enterprise customers and translating operational needs into scalable solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred.
- This role is based out of our Seattle, WA office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
