Target is looking to establish an Enterprise Portfolio Management function to enable key decisions around the most valuable problems for their teams to solve across pyramids and to understand progress towards delivering that value.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management, product ops, and or product portfolio management experience
- Experience with data analysis and synthesis for large sets of information
- Experience supporting enterprise-level bodies of work
- Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas) and working with outcome-focused metrics (OKRs)
- Change management experience and competency
Responsibilities
- support the creation, management, and implementation of enterprise-wide product processes and routines to enable meaningful discussions, drive tradeoff decisions for Product Officers, and increase speed to value for Target.
- monitor, connect, and manage critical relationships across the Enterprise Product Portfolio, digging into dependencies, facilitating tradeoff discussions, analyzing and articulating value and risks, and creating artifacts to convey this information for Product Pyramid and Top-Cross Pyramid Product Priorities.
- support the planning, routines, dependency, and sequencing needs across Top Cross-Pyramid Priorities, leveraging data analytics and insights to facilitate portfolio decisions.
- treat the quarterly, monthly, and weekly Enterprise Product routines as a product, maintaining backlogs, kicking off sprints, and discovery efforts to constantly improve our new Enterprise-wide routines.
- collaborate broadly across our product, technology, UX, and business teams to improve strategic planning, portfolio health, and communication.
- support the implementation of a new Enterprise Product Tool.
- driving consistency of product management frameworks across pyramid planning as it relates to the tool.
