Global Payments is looking to ensure that all applications under test meet organizational standards and end-user requirements by thoroughly testing software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and tools (e.g., test automation frameworks).
- Automation Test Experience
- MS SQL Server, MongoDB
- Postman, BDD/Cucumber Test Framework, JMeter, TestRail Experience
- Jira, Confluence experience
- Java, NodeJS, React experience
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, including both manual and automated testing strategies.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
- Developing and implementing quality standards, processes, and procedures.
- Identifying potential risks and issues early in the development process and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Tracking quality metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts, to assess product quality.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and product quality.

- Bachelor's Degree
- Relevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field; additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Typically Minimum 5 Years Relevant Exp
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting defects, collaborating with teams, and documenting test results.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
