Requirements
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, particularly Capybara, Cucumber, and writing tests in Gherkin syntax.
- Proficiency in testing both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and tools.
- Skilled in testing for responsive design across devices, browsers, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools, REST API testing, and tools such as Postman.
- Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and test management systems.
- Must have intermediate to advanced experience querying SQL databases to verify results.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for web and backend services, covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and accessibility testing.
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Gherkin, Capybara, and Cucumber.
- Develop and execute both manual and automated test cases across a variety of devices and screen sizes to ensure responsive design compatibility.
- Lead accessibility testing efforts to ensure compliance with WCAG standards and legal requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve quality strategies, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, UX designers, and DevOps engineers to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline and foster a culture of quality.
- Analyze test results, triage issues, and communicate findings clearly and effectively to development teams.

- Partners with an Sr. Engineering Manager to prioritize work for a quality assurance team.
- Mentor and support QA team members, promoting best practices and a mindset of continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives, to align QA activities with product and engineering objectives.

- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- 2+ years leadership experience.
