Huntsman is seeking a Sr. Quality Manager to support the ADMAT Division, with the primary function of driving vision for zero defect culture creation, aerospace qualification understanding, and statistical tools implementation.
Requirements
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100.
- Quality Lead Auditor experience and certification required (ISO9001).
- In depth knowledge of analytical chemistry.
- Experience in managing laboratory information systems including database management and reporting.
- Statistics and application of statistical principles in quality control and with dispute resolution.
- Strong writing and advanced computer skills including database management and report generation (MS Office).
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor Certification
Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the A&QC labs on a continuous basis.
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) for the site
- Perform statistical analysis and provide guidance to production and product management on aerospace qualifications.
- Maintain statistical quality control program for the plant.
- Implement modern best practices in QC methods work under leadership of Regional QC.
- Assist product management with the development of achievable product specifications using statistical analysis.
- Investigate and ensure that quality issues/complaints are analyzed and resolved with an understanding that timeliness and accuracy is critical to business.
Other
- Bachelor of Science, Chemistry (or related field) plus 5+ years of Laboratory Experience.
- 10+ years of Experience under a Chemical manufacturing environment.
- Must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
- Must work independently in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and projects.
