Huntington Distribution Finance (HDF) is seeking a Sr. Risk Analytics Analyst to lead all activities associated with the maintenance and implementation of credit scoring models in the business.
Requirements
Experience with core data mining concepts (extracting, cleansing, transforming, analyzing) and applications/software such as advanced Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with how programming languages such as SQL are used and managed in data mining including Visual Basic and Alteryx.
Experience with statistical or machine learning methods in a corporate environment through applications such as R, Python, or SAS.
Tableau and Powerpoint
Experience with Salesforce or comparable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Responsibilities
Provide support to the Underwriting function including activities aimed at delivering tools, models, risk rating processes, reporting, and consistency in application of policies/procedures and systems.
Lead analytical projects and reporting to drive actionable intelligence (e.g. enhancements to credit policies, colleague productivity, etc.)
Provide data and analysis to support credit risk management and portfolio management.
Lead and support various Credit and Portfolio Management models utilized by HDF, including day-to-day operations of models as well as on-going model performance monitoring and validation using acquired knowledge of HDF systems and data.
Execute the monthly Portfolio Management (PM) model and Dual Risk Rating (DRR) update processes, working with HDF departments and external vendors, to ensure accuracy of results and uploading into Inventory Engine.
Implement semi-annual risk ratings update on App Only portfolio, including execution of batch risk rating process, release of ratings overrides, and updating of risk ratings in Inventory Engine and data warehouse.
Support HNB’s model development team with requested data files to support the required model monitoring and validation efforts required, including providing model data files, default information and charge-off/loss information.

Bachelor’s degree in business or finance.
5+ years of financial services experience.
