Enlighten is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems, creating software solutions that meet client needs.
Requirements
- Must have a strong working knowledge and experience developing Java based software capabilities.
- Experience in designing enterprise APIs.
- Experience in RESTful web services.
- Experience in Microservices architecture.
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.
- Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
- Experience with the Linux operating system.
Responsibilities
- Must have a strong working knowledge and experience developing Java based software capabilities.
- Must also possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
- Experience in designing enterprise APIs.
- Experience in RESTful web services.
- Experience in Microservices architecture.
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.
Other
- Security Clearance - Current Secret level U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required.
- At least 9 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers on a daily basis.
- Must be able to work onsite at customer locations and/or at a co-working space to be established in Colorado Springs, CO.
