Lakeland Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Analyst to analyze business needs, design software solutions, and oversee the implementation and troubleshooting of software systems to ensure they meet organizational goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of progressive work experience as a member and then a leader on a software development team.
- Extensive experience in software design, implementation and support, following SDLC principles.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and DevOps. SCRUM being strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages like C++, Java, and C-Sharp. C-Sharp and Visual Studio being strongly preferred.
- SAP Public Cloud experience preferred, not required, but strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience in ANSI SQL, database design, and developing complex SQL queries.
- Implementing 3rd Normal Form Principles, preferably T-SQL and PL/SQL.
Responsibilities
- Business Process Analysis: Understanding and documenting business processes to identify areas for software improvement.
- Software Design: Designing and specifying software systems and features that align with business needs and stakeholder expectations.
- Requirement Gathering: Working with stakeholders to define requirements, define acceptance criteria, and maintain prioritized product backlogs.
- Project Management: Overseeing the delivery of IT projects, including managing resources, timelines, and budget.
- Team Leadership: Leading and facilitating Agile teams through events like sprint planning and retrospectives, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues within software systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Technical Guidance: Providing expert technical advice and guidance to other team members.
