The partner company is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Software Business Analyst to translate operational and client requirements into clear, actionable Agile software specifications, driving operational efficiency, improving software solutions, and delivering value to clients through structured, data-driven insights.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Business/Product Analyst in SaaS environments.
- Experience working in Agile teams, translating business requirements into software solutions.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and functional testing.
- Familiarity with sprint processes, project management, and Scrum methodologies; certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Capture and document business requirements and translate them into Agile software specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify needs, propose solutions, and support project implementation.
- Create high-level documents, proposals, and contracts for internal and external use.
- Develop financial spreadsheets, reports, and visualizations to support operational analysis.
- Collect and analyze data across departments to measure program outcomes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with IT teams and delivery managers on project releases following testing sign-offs.
- Create training materials and conduct training sessions for internal teams and clients.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple levels of management.
- Insurance or claims industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Remote work flexibility within the Tri-State area.
