Requirements
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, HA, routing and switching.
- Experience with network infrastructure, hardware, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge on scripting tools, Python, Robot framework, and Linux Bash.
- Good understanding of Linux platform and its tools.
- Hands-on experience on VM configuration, with ESXI, Proxmox system or Docker container.
- Understanding of general QA procedures and methodologies.
- Have any networking certification like FCA/FCP/FCSS, CCNA/CCNP etc. is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing on newly developed products using a combination of manual and auto-testing techniques.
- Follow internal development, test, and build processes.
- Design testbeds, identify necessary equipment.
- Explorer FortiGate features and develop new test approach with necessary test tools and skills.
- Work closely with Developers, QA, and others to understand new features, user cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.
- Write and maintain automation scripts.
Other
- 3+ years of QA testing experience
- A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field
- Ability to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraints
- Ability to work in collaborative environment and communicate well with other departments
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/Engineering, or equivalent
