Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications and APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, using prescribed specifications.
- Code, test, and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
- Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
- Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
- Analyze performance of program and take action to correct deficiencies.
- Write and maintain programming documentation.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent job-related experience
- 7 or more years of experience as software programmer.
- Strong ability to analyze information and recommend solutions.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables including logic and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
