Milliman Omaha is looking to reinvent the insurance market with a new web application, and this role will provide technical leadership to design, develop, and scale this application, ultimately improving user experience and maintaining market competitiveness.
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in SaaS or similar fast paced development environment
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Sprint best practices
- Knowledgeable with Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
- Experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with Version Control (Git)
- Experience with database architecture design
- Experience with User-story mapping
Responsibilities
- Provide sound technical leadership for development, design, and scaling of a new web application
- Operate alongside all development efforts and personnel both internal and external
- Create elegant solutions to complex problems
- Conduct technological analyses and research
- Experience leading code review for a team of Engineers
- Experience with database architecture design
- Experience with User-story mapping
