Milliman Omaha is looking to reinvent the insurance market with a new web application, and this role will provide technical leadership to design, develop, and scale this application, ultimately improving user experience and maintaining market competitiveness.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in SaaS or similar fast paced development environment
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Sprint best practices
  • Knowledgeable with Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
  • Experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Experience with Version Control (Git)
  • Experience with database architecture design
  • Experience with User-story mapping

Responsibilities

  • Provide sound technical leadership for development, design, and scaling of a new web application
  • Operate alongside all development efforts and personnel both internal and external
  • Create elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Conduct technological analyses and research
  • Experience leading code review for a team of Engineers
  • Experience with database architecture design
  • Experience with User-story mapping
