Requirements
- IBM Power i
- Supply Chain solutions
- RPG III ILE, SQL, CL
- RPG and SQL coding methods and best practices.
- DB2 relational database and operating systems experience with OS/400.
- Developing and supporting Warehouse Management, EDI mapping and processing, Supply Chain and Distribution, Sales Order Processing, Transportation and Shipping, Purchasing, Inventory and Finance.
- IBM i servers
Responsibilities
- Plays a key role in maintaining and growing the WORLDPAC success story.
- Solution designing and developing with a thorough understanding of Supply Chain solutions.
- Developing and supporting Warehouse Management, EDI mapping and processing, Supply Chain and Distribution, Sales Order Processing, Transportation and Shipping, Purchasing, Inventory and Finance.
- Adhere to common standards and change management tools on IBM i servers.
- Bring solution idea to fruition by working with a team or individual to design, development, test, implementation and support.
Other
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and/or 15 years equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues.
- Able to communicate professionally and effectively with technical and non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
- Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
