AspenTech is looking to improve software deployment solutions for their aspenONE software to make it easier for customers to adopt their latest technologies
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Extensive expertise with Windows Installer technology and InstallShield.
- Strong proficiency in C, PowerShell, Bash (SH), and C++.
- Solid understanding of software deployment procedures and best practices.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain installation packages for Windows and Linux platforms.
- Utilize Windows Installer and other installation technologies to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Create, update, and maintain installation scripts using C, PowerShell, Bash, and C++.
- Leverage InstallShield for advanced installation packaging and deployment tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define installation requirements and strategies.
- Work with container technologies to support modern deployment environments.
- Ensure installation processes integrate with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce) and CI/CD pipelines.

- 3-5 years experience as an Installation Developer.
