SitusAMC is looking to scale its data pipelines and calculation workflows to support decision-making in the residential real estate mortgage domain.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional Python development experience, with a focus on data pipelines and asynchronous systems.
- Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, handling large datasets.
- Proven experience building and scaling production workflows using Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, etc.) and event-driven data architecture.
- Familiarity with containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience integrating machine learning models into data workflows preferred
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented (Analysis, Design, Programming)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines using Python and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Architect and deploy asynchronous workflows, streaming ETL pipelines, and event-driven architectures using message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Optimize performance and reliability of data systems in a high-volume, production environment.
- Build reusable components, automate routine data tasks, and ensure observability across all workflows.
- Work closely with product and domain experts in real estate and mortgage to translate business needs into robust data solutions.
Other
- Experienced professional with 6+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience in the residential real estate or mortgage industry, especially around mortgage pricing and valuation preferred
- Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and auditability in regulated industries preferred
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills
