Workday is looking to improve the flow of work to customers by focusing on build automation and deployment automation within their Product & Technology team for the VNDLY SaaS platform.
Requirements
- 7+ years software development experience
- 3+ years writing RESTful web services
- 3+ years working with relational databases
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git using Bitbucket/GitHub
- Comfortable working with JavaScript frameworks
- Experience in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.
- Experience with unit testing and modern testing paradigms such as TDD (test-driven development)
Responsibilities
- focus on build automation and deployment automation within our Product & Technology team
- continually improve the flow of work to customers
- engineering enablement through build tools and telemetry to aid in how we respond and maintain our services
- feature development, testing, bug fixing, maintenance, and support
- demonstrate full project life cycle plans for complex projects
- assist in mentoring more junior members on the engineering team
- work on all aspects of our technology pipeline
Other
- work multi-functionally with teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Security, and Sales
