Requirements
- Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js ecosystem.
- Understanding of distributed systems, async processing, and service-oriented design.
- Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong debugging, profiling, and code review skills.
- Exposure to healthcare data models (FHIR, HL7, EHR integrations).
- Experience designing modular frameworks, SDKs, or internal developer tools.
- Interest in AI integration and healthcare analytics workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design discussions and translate specifications into reliable implementations.
- Review and mentor developers on writing maintainable, low-coupled, reusable modules.
- Design integrations across heterogeneous systems (e.g., Java to Node.js bridges, FHIR/HL7 data pipelines).
- Improve code quality, structure, and consistency across services.
- Build internal tools, SDKs, or shared libraries that promote reusability and standardization.
- Own system-level performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Identify risks, propose architectural improvements, and simplify complex systems.
Other
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 in a technical leadership or system design role.
- Active GitHub or portfolio demonstrating design/architecture thinking.
- Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
