The AOS Engineering team at WellSky is looking to hire a Sr. Software Engineer to build and optimize comprehensive software solutions that prioritize end-user efficiency and experience, contributing to the future of healthcare technology.
Requirements
- Strong experience with .NET, including C or Java
- Proficiency in Angular or React (Angular preferred for web, React Native used for mobile)
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred; AWS or Azure acceptable
- Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Copilot Studio; openness to AI-driven workflows
- Solid foundation in unit testing and automated testing; ability to own quality assurance in the absence of dedicated QA resources
- Experience working in Agile environments, including familiarity with JIRA, Scrum, and sprint planning
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex software development features and ensure solutions are scalable, effective, and maintainable.
- Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and other teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with priorities and project goals.
- Analyze and solve complex technical problems, identify bottlenecks, and prepare technical documentation to optimize system performance.
- Facilitate code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and lead by example in code quality, development best practices, and problem-solving approaches.
- Ensure code meets functional and performance requirements, and advocate for high-quality software and ensure rigorous testing processes, including automated unit tests, integration tests, and other testing frameworks.
- Leverage common GenAI tools for AI assisted development and understand the basics of prompt engineering.

- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment; demonstrate initiative and flexibility to pivot direction as team goals evolve and new challenges emerge.

- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
