AOS Engineering team is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to build impactful software solutions that prioritize end-user efficiency and experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), with hands-on experience using UiPath to design, implement, and maintain automation workflows.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within RPA environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Demonstrated success in implementing new automation solutions using UiPath to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong programming skills with the ability to develop scripts and integrate automation tools into broader software ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of automation principles and best practices, with a track record of delivering scalable and maintainable RPA solutions.
- Working knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI), with emphasis on generative AI applications and their integration into software solutions.
- Experience working with a variety of APIs to collect, integrate, and process data from external and internal sources, enabling seamless automation and enhanced system interoperability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex software development features and ensure solutions are scalable, effective, and maintainable.
- Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and other teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with priorities and project goals.
- Analyze and solve complex technical problems, identify bottlenecks, and prepare technical documentation to optimize system performance.
- Facilitate code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and lead by example in code quality, development best practices, and problem-solving approaches.
- Ensure code meets functional and performance requirements, and advocate for high-quality software and ensure rigorous testing processes, including automated unit tests, integration tests, and other testing frameworks.
- Leverage common GenAI tools for AI assisted development and understand the basics of prompt engineering.

- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
- Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
- Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and best practices for protecting Personal Health Information (PHI), preferably with experience in the healthcare industry.
