Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer on our largest PRIME contract. Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base.
Requirements
- Experience with production-grade software development in Python
- Experience within network domain developing tools to meet analyst and operator pain points
- Experience leveraging HTTP-based APIs to access data through queries
- Experience with software source control (git) and Atlassian tool suite - Jira, Confluence
- Experience presenting data analysis results to customers
- Experience interacting with stakeholders to elicit requirements
- Practical experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets
Responsibilities
- Lead a project from inception to delivery in the network domain, including; problem decomposition, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of full-stack data analysis applications
- Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions
- Navigate customer data types to identify and extract relevant information
- Collaborate with other software engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and recommend pathways for fixes
- Overcome inevitable obstacles
Other
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 12 years of experience in software development
- U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible).
