The Space Force is looking to enhance its missile warning and tracking mission and accelerate threat-responsive solutions for warfighters through the development of a scalable, cyber-secure ground processing capability.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Gitlab, Gitlab Runner, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm Charts
- Experience with Python, C++, and/or Rust
- Hands-on professional experience with Vue and React (desired)
- Experience with Agile software development methodology (desired)
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence (desired)
- Domain experience with remote sensing systems or ground architectures (desired)
- Experience with OPIR sensor processing (desired)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python, C++, and Rust
- Utilize Gitlab, Gitlab Runner, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm Charts for deployments
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize Jira for project management and tracking
- Apply DoD standards and protocols to ensure compliance and security
Other
- On-site support in Boulder, CO 5 days per week
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government DoD Secret Security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
- BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or another relevant field
- 8+ years of professional experience in a software engineer position
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
