SimpliSafe is looking to hire motivated, self-reliant engineers with a backend focus to join their Monitoring Engineering organization to build next-generation monitoring experiences that rise head and shoulders above the industry, leveraging best-in-class technology and a focus on people.
Requirements
- Experience with a modern language (TypeScript, C-Sharp, etc.), with a willingness to learn other tools and languages.
- Extensive experience as a practitioner of continuous integration & delivery, test automation, etc.
- Thorough understanding of cloud technologies, and relevant methodologies such as infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain testing approaches to ensure that our tools and services are maintainable and continue to perform at their peak into the future.
- Design and implement features with a focus on reliability and scalability
- Collaborate closely with the team to identify creative and robust solutions to problems at hand
Other
- You should have experience working solo on complete features as part of a larger product, or taking on small products/projects entirely on their own.
- You should have ample experience working with product teams to resolve ambiguity and with other engineering teams to design the correct technological solution.
