The company is looking to expand its software offerings and support customer projects by hiring a Sr. Software Engineer who can provide technical leadership and expertise in implementing the software roadmap. The goal is to design, develop, and support software, ensuring solid and performing solutions for clients.
Requirements
- Primary backend development will be in C-Sharp and SQL
- Experience with Ignition to generate HTML pages
- Understanding of various interface methodologies and data formats such as sockets, RESTful, SOAP, XML, JSON, flat file, EDI, etc.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting general IT issues with server, workstations and printers
- Experience in other object-oriented languages such as C++, Java, etc. is a plus
- Experience with CSS and Python is a plus
- Experience in ZPL is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support the expansion of software offerings
- Support the implement and installation customer projects
- Provide technical leadership and provide expertise and guidance in implementation of the software roadmap
- Participate in development meetings and code reviews
- General code development
- Work with project team to develop and support any required custom modules and interfaces
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues that arise during implementation
Other
- Drawing on expertise on the material handling industry to guide functionality and design to the development team.
- Use experience with customer installations to improve the base offerings.
- Participate in customer kick-off and design meetings.
- Assist the project manager and software project engineer in the creation of project specifications and design parameters as needed.
- Travel to site to support software project engineers if required.
