Requirements
- extensive programming skills in Java, particularly within the Spring Boot ecosystem, as well as JavaScript/TypeScript with experience in React and Next.js frameworks.
- Proven expertise in building automation frameworks using tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium is essential.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines integrated with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms is necessary.
- Knowledge of cloud-native environments, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containers, and testing in cloud environments, is highly desirable.
- experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms, AI/ML-based testing, and observability tools for test impact analysis.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable automation frameworks for backend API/microservices and frontend UI testing to ensure scalable and reliable test coverage.
- Research, evaluate, and implement modern test automation tools, including emerging low-code/no-code platforms and AI-driven testing solutions, to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new tools and frameworks, assessing their suitability and integration into existing workflows.
- Develop shared tooling and pipelines for test orchestration, data setup, mocking, stubbing, and parallel test execution, promoting cross-team reuse and standardization.
- Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and product teams to embed quality practices early in the development lifecycle, promoting shift-left testing strategies.
- Define automation standards, coding guidelines, and governance models to ensure consistency and quality across teams.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices, automation techniques, and quality engineering principles.
