Requirements
- Professional experience with modern PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js is preferred
- Experience in migrating legacy frontend or backend codebases to Laravel/Vue.js is a plus
- Broad professional experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL)
- Extensive experience in designing and building secure RESTful APIs
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD and containerization, is a strong asset
- A mindset of automation and a desire to improve the development lifecycle for the entire team
Responsibilities
- Design, research, and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements
- Drive the evolution of our technical strategy, best practices, and technology stack by researching, proposing, and implementing new solutions
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, and multiply the team's effectiveness through code reviews, technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment
- Provide technical leadership by anticipating challenges, making key architectural and design decisions, and shaping the direction of large-scale projects and services
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large, complex, and high-quality systems and products
- Work with product and other engineering teams to define API contracts and ensure the consistency and quality of our API ecosystem
- Efficiently break down and solve complex technical problems, identify and mitigate risks, and debug challenging issues across the stack

- 3+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization as needed
