FairSquare is creating a new, state-of-the-art digital lending company targeting SMBs with an automated loan experience. The company aims to differentiate itself through superior technology, risk management, data science, a fully digital UI, and a customer-first experience. The Sr. Software Engineer will help design, implement, and maintain the server-side logic to support these goals and ensure seamless integration with front-end elements.
Requirements
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React/Node.
- Experience with Jest unit testing.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with deploying software in AWS environment.
- Experience working with .NET is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using JavaScript to support the functionality of our applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
- Integrate with third-party APIs to aggregate data from various sources.
- Implement server-side logic using JavaScript or TypeScript, with a focus on Node.js, or Next.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and third-party vendors, to prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality software.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams for code and APIs, enabling seamless collaboration within the team.

- Hybrid 3 days/week, Full time M-F 8am-5pm PST/EST
