Apple Pay is used daily by millions of people across the world to make fast and secure payments in person and online. Within that our team owns customer facing features in Wallet that empowers users to make more informed purchases, increasing their confidence when making a transaction, and have more control when it comes to their finances. You’ll be working on features that cover both the e-commerce and in-store experiences on a global scale and that wouldn’t be possible without the large number of partners we work with to deliver these features.

Requirements

  • Hands-on software development experience with Java or Kotlin.
  • Development and operational experience with REST and/or gRPC services.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Time spent architecting, building, supporting or otherwise working on cloud-native (e.g. AWS) applications with resilience as a core feature.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g. Aurora, DynamoDB, CockroachDB, Oracle).
