Synctera is solving the problem of enabling companies to create new revenue streams and enhance their value proposition through FinTech apps and embedded banking products. The company provides an end-to-end Banking as a Service platform to help banks increase deposits and non-interest income by expanding their footprint through FinTech and embedded finance partnerships.
Requirements
- Experience with Go or a comparable structured and opinionated language
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud
- Experience in using and creating RESTful APIs
- Experience with Kubernetes (Google Kubernetes Engine) and Cloud Run
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure orchestration
- Experience with OpenAPI specifications for API documentation and inter-service communication
Responsibilities
- Design, enhance, and maintain Synctera’s Google Cloud and CI/CD infrastructure
- Develop and maintain backend services and utilities in Go
- Build and evolve platform tooling that improves reliability and the internal developer experience
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure platform stability and reliability
- Identify and implement cleaner, more efficient solutions to technical problems
- Help define and drive Synctera’s infrastructure and developer experience roadmap
- Work across engineering teams to support shared platform needs and act as an escalation point for infrastructure-related questions
