This involves building advanced automation solutions, including generative AI and Voice AI, to enhance customer care and engagement through messaging, chat, and phone support.
Requirements
- Scalable system architecture design
- Production-quality services, deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
- Microservice designs, gRPC or REST API development
- Experience with conversational Voice AI.
- Experience in applying AI-powered tools and frameworks in line with modern industry practices and innovation trends.
- Logging, monitoring, performance troubleshooting and tuning experience
- Fluent in one of these programming languages: Golang, Scala, Java,
Responsibilities
- design and implement innovative solutions that enhance customer care and drive engagement across various channels, including messaging, chat, and phone support.
- building and enhancing the tools and systems that support our customer communication channels.
- creating scalable, reliable, manageable solutions that deliver on requirements at Uber by bringing together platforms leveraging AI at Uber.
- owning customer facing products that impact the support experience of millions of customers.
- identifying required changes across Uber's engineering ecosystem, collaborating with engineering teams, driving consensus, implementing extensible, maintainable changes to build state-of-the-art support experiences.
- designing, implementing, and unit testing the backend application code.
- defining an architecture that would scale and also encourage best practices.

- 6+ years of experience in software engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Must be a great communicator, team player, and a technical powerhouse.
